Acquis Communautaire

CO-OPERATION PROGRAMME
BETWEEN FLANDERS AND LITHUANIA

DEVELOPING THE POTENTIAL AND EXPERTISE IN BUSINESS SUPPORT ORGANISATIONS IN LITHUANIA (VILNIUS AND KAUNAS) ALLOWING TO PREPARE SMEs FOR IMPLEMENTING THE “ACQUIS COMMUNAUTAIRE”

Brief summary of the project:

The main target of this project is to train business support organisations in Vilnius and Kaunas in informing and stimulating Lithuanian SMEs to prepare their enterprises for the important changes in legislation in the coming months and years as a result of the adoption and implementation of the so-called "acquis communautaire" of the European Union in the Lithuanian legislation.

The project would be worked out with the cooperation of partner organisations in Vilnius and Kaunas who would receive a practical training and transfer of expertise regarding "acquis communautaire" rules.

The project will be executed in two cities in Lithuania, namely Vilnius and Kaunas. The partner institutions in these cities dispose of very recently established Euro Info Centres whose services cover information and assistance to SMEs in all regions of the country.
